"Wonderful place for delicious breakfast! Friendly locals at other tables had great recommendations about what to order, and they were not wrong! I thoroughly enjoyed a perfectly fried egg, wonderfully, yet subtly, flavored cheese grits, crispy bacon, and hash browns that were akin to Little Bear’s porridge, as in, “just right”! My daughter raved about her bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit, and especially enjoyed an extra biscuit paired with apple butter. The service was on point, polite, and professional. A delightful experience all the way around! I will go back & take others with me! A real Dothan gem!"

"So found this place while traveling down to the Redneck Rivera for vacation. I will say when I first drove up I was a little apprehensive because all the windows are covered up and you couldn't see inside. But as I entered that all changed. Home town restaurant. Great country cooking and it seemed like everyone knew everyone. My kind of local place. Order the biscuits and gravy with side of fried bologna. Oh Lawd. Man it was good. The gravy had huge chunks of sausage on top of it and the bologna was a massive cut. The best thing is we had just walk out of a restaurant up in Eufaula due to service and the look of their food. Rays was the opposite end of the spectrum. Will now be our official stopover from here on out when we travel thru Dothan."

"As we approached Ray's, we stopped a couple leaving. We ask what item they enjoyed. We ordered what they praised. The Tomato gravy with bacon on biscuits is out of this world. We ordered the 2 biscuit plate. That was enough for any Paul Bunion!! You would be sad not to visit Ray's. The Waitress and the Co-owner were extra attentive. That is the real Family Restaurant atmosphere."
